Handmade Custom Knives

Barking Gecko Forge is located in Nannup, Western Australia offering a range of high quality, handcrafted knives. I make a variety of fixed blade and folding knives including chef knives, hunting knives, Bowie and camp knives, filleting knives and slip joint folding knives.

All my knives are handmade by me using the highest quality materials and known steels. All our Damascus steel is forged in house using 1084 and 15n20 high carbon steels, this is done by layering the two different types of steel and forge welding together to get one solid piece of steel forming a billet. The billet is then folded and manipulated in different ways to get the required pattern and layer count.
